I discovered Sarah Porter last year when I first saw her at the Texas Teen Book Festival in Austin, Texas. Then I finally read her book Vassa in the Night that came in one of my YA book box subscriptions the following month. It definitely took me awhile to get used to her writing style, but I am really excited to see how I’ll like this book. The premise sounds like it’ll be just as weird and twisty as Vassa in the Night, and I am looking forward to reading this.
