The Best Damn Book Box curated by Nicole and her team came in today, and I am super excited! I know it’s September, but the owners of TBDBB are still trying to catch up from their family tragedy. Which, I understand, things happen I am just glad to finally receive a box!

The back of this card (pictured up top) is actually one of the water color art prints by Art Quality. Each print has a value of $3.00. I like that they put the info card on the back of one of the art prints. Saves me from throwing away the card when I no longer need it!

Peter Pan by J.M Barrie, Illustrated by Minalima Ltd.

Published: June 2nd 2015

Amazon Summary:

J. M. Barrie’s classic children’s story is reimagined in this delightful full-color deluxe edition filled with all-new illustrations and ten removable features specially designed by MinaLima, the award-winning design studio behind the graphics for the Harry Potter films.

For more than a century, the adventures of Peter Pan—the boy who can fly and never grows up—and Wendy Darling have captured the hearts of generations of readers. In this enchanting illustrated volume, the fantastical world of Neverland and its magical inhabitants, including the Lost Boys, Captain Hook, Tiger Lily, and the beloved Tinker Bell, are brought to life like never before.

Peter Pan is packed with a lush array of colorful illustrations and interactive removable features, including a detailed map of Neverland, a croc o’clock with hands you can rotate to tell time, Peter’s shadow, and more. Beautiful and captivating, filled with breathtaking artwork, this stunning book is sure to become a treasured keepsake for fans of all ages.

This book retails for $27.99, but you can purchase this on Amazon for $20.37. This is a pretty cool book. I like how it’s not only illustrated, but interactive as well. It was little pop ups and spiny wheeled embellishments. It takes reading a classic to a whole new level!

The art print on the left is a magnet by Art Prints, that has a retail value of $5.00. Just like the info card, the water color print on the right was made by Art Quality. This particular print has a retail value of $3.00.

“Neverland Sky” by Once Upon a Wick. I couldn’t find this particular one on their website, but it smells really good! I used it in my wax warmer earlier tonight, and my only complaint is that it took awhile for me to be able to smell it across the room. But it did make the inside of the box smell really nice. The card says this has a retail value of $7.00, but all of their products listed on their website are sold for $6.00.

The druzy earrings and opal ring were handmade by Mermaid Gypsy. The card says that they both retail for $14.00, so I am going to assume that they are retailed at $7.00 a piece.

Mermaid Gypsy also made these cute little Peter Pan magnets. They have a retail value of $4.00.

“Second Star to the Right” charm bracelet was made by the Best Damn Craft Shop. This bracelet is very cute and dainty, it has a retail value of $12.00.

This box was supposed to have a new Indie book and a Funko Pop! I didn’t know that we were supposed to be receiving those items as well, so after I found that out I was totally disappointed! I love anything Funko and that would have been a great addition to this box! We did receive an e-mail the other day about either receiving the book or getting an Amazon gift card. I guess  that makes up for it, but still a let down. Hopefully the next couple of boxes will have everything that was promised.

Overall, this box has a value of $67.37. Not bad, I enjoyed this box more than the “Game of Thrones” box from June. If this box had the magnetic bookmarks like the GOT box, I would have loved this box so much more!

August’s box theme is:

September’s theme:

I’m really excited for these two boxes to come in!
